There are few museums that are surrounded by such fascinating landscape as the Kröller-Müller Museum. Situated amid the Hoge Veluwe National Park, the museum offers the visitor a unique combination of culture, nature and architecture.
The heart of the collection is the work of Vincent van Gogh, with no fewer than 82 paintings and 190 prints and drawings. The museum also houses works by Seurat, Picasso, Mondrian, Toorop and many others.
The museum’s sculpture garden, with more than 100 works dotted among 25 hectares of parkland, is one of the largest in Europe. The garden has recently been enriched with a legendary piece of Dutch post-war architecture: the sculpture pavilion by Aldo van Eyck. A stroll through the sculpture garden is always a surprising voyage of discovery.
It is possible to hire spaces in the Kröller-Müller Museum for meetings, receptions and dinners on a limited scale and subject to certain conditions. In the summer it is also possible to hire the sculpture garden and the Rietveld Pavilion. Alongside the designated reception areas, you may choose to have access to one of the following parts of the museum: the Van de Velde wing with the permanent collection, the exhibitions wing or the sculpture garden. You can hire the spaces with or without dinner. The Kröller-Müller Museum has relationships with renowned caterers who have experience of the museum’s particular circumstances, but you are free to appoint your own caterer.
All the spaces are available from 17.00 when the museum closes. You can hire the spaces for four different time slots:
1. 17.00 to 18.00 €1,250.00
2. 17.00 to 19.00 €3,000.00
3. 17.00 to 20.00 €5,000.00
4. 17.00 to 23.00 €17,500.00
These prices are inclusive of personnel and organisational costs, but are exclusive of VAT. The prices for options 1-3 do not include the entrance fees to the Hoge Veluwe National Park and the Kröller-Müller Museum. The price for option 4 includes entrance fees and a guided tour. All prices are exclusive of catering.
